We finished packing up yesterday and hit the road. We were impressed with how efficiently we packed, and I feel fairly confident that we have *most* of what we’ll need for the next 5+ weeks minus the milk, bread, and whatnot that we’ll have to buy now and then. (Although admittedly, we had to stop at Camping World yesterday and RV World today for fittings/water pressure sensor/etc. for the camper.) Given that we’ve been planning this trip for well over a year, I would say that we’re well-prepared for our road trip.
We drove from Columbus, IN, up to Stoughton, WI, where we unhitched for the night at Viking Village Campground. We were able to spend the evening with my brother, Jeremiah, and Dawson who made us a steak fajita dinner, and we enjoyed catching up with them. Today, we loaded up on donuts and pastries at Fosdal’s Bakery in Stoughton before heading out again. Today is our longest travel day of the whole trip – nearly 800 miles or over 12 hours of driving.
Thanks Megan for sharing your beautiful trip! Prayers and I look forward to Future posts .
I’m Already Missing you,
And Wishing I was there;
